As you become a seasoned crafting pro, you will start to stop using the cheapest ‘tools and equipment’ and start searching for really nice ones, made by independent businesses and sold in local shops – cause that is where the money needs to be spent and these are one of those products worth investing in.
These are the coco knits coloured stitch markers and I love them!
We use these in knitting to mark a specific place in the knitting when shit gets real. Like when you need to do an increase, a decrease, to mark a half way point or I use them to also help me cast on large amounts of stitches – chucking them in every 25 stitches or what have you! Helps me keep count yo!
The colours make it easy to colour code the instructions too – Red is always the start and end of a round for me. Blue could mean do a decrease or increase and a yellow one could mean make a bobble? If you like visual clues in your knitting these are great!
Here are the Highlights…
- they are magnetic – bonus
- bright and colourful and fun
- nylon coated steel makes it soft to the touch
- sturdy and usable cardboard packaging
- come in 3 sizes small, medium and jumbo for up to 16mm needles!
- large packs and lots of colours
The Downside they ain’t cheap – but that’s kinda the theme here – Only a fool buys twice or some shit.
Make Town don’t sell these cause our lovely neighbour Anna of Wild and Woolly does, so pop down there, treat yourself to some markers and say hello. She is my personal knitting guru and you will love her too!
