It was no easy task finding the perfect location! But finally we have!

We spent hours each day searching the internet for new listings and checking what was available against our super long checklist of requirements on the dream board. They work guys!

Natural light, open space, high ceilings, lots of plug sockets, toilet, not too far from home and the kids schools, good transport links, on the street front, fair footfall, great landlord, shutters and the kitchen sink. I mean, not asking for much right?

After many a dud viewing, this place popped up! The space felt amazing, the floors are so lush, it has a toilet and a fire escape (thank you earthquake PTSD) and only a five minute bike ride from home. The landlord is aces and wanted us to move in so we signed the paperwork, dumped our life savings into the deposit and I grabbed the keys! Boom! Easy as pie right?

Next step is fitting it out. We are lucky to be surrounded with amazing creatives who are keen to be on board and have incredible ideas and it is going to be terrific.

We are so eternally grateful and overwhelmed with the support we have been slathered in from our mates, our Whanau, the universe and the crafting community. We can’t wait for you to all come to the launch party!

So as my nana would say, ‘Rattle ya dags Brooke Marie!’ Let’s get this show on the road.
