Today is pretty magical, because today Make Town officially opened it’s doors to the general public, and it feels terrific! In every part of our being, it feels good.

Bobby and I have jumped out of the frying and into the fire many times together over the past 15 or so years. But this is the biggest leap of faith since moving to the other side of the world with kids in tow, a suitcase each and the promise of a new niece to hold.

So, although this new adventure feels somewhat familiar to us, it is also terrifyingly different. This time we will try a new kind of dance, because change is inevitable, hindsight is a wonderful thing, experience is the hardest teacher, forgiveness is a virtue, authenticity is magnetic and humans are creatures of habit who will repeat quotes to try make sense of this chaotic world.

This is where we are now, Make Town has been birthed and we couldn’t be prouder or more excited about her journey. Watching her find her feet and her voice, her family and what makes her heart sing.
