What if I can't make my workshop anymore?
Sucks bro. Covid sucks, train strikes are annoying, having a job is average, an accident is painful, deliveries and tradespeople are unreliable, unexpected surprise visitors suck your time and kids can change your life or they can changes your plans. I know, we have experienced them all ourselves x

What happens if I am late?
Please be on time. It would be grand if you arrive at the studio 5 minutes before the class starts to ensure you settle in and can start promptly.
You will be turned away if you are late. We have lots to get through and being late to is disruptive and unfair to everyone. Not cool dude.
How do I cancel my MT Membership?
Why would you wanna do that? Just jokes, no shade. You are welcome to do this by logging into your MT account.
On your dashboard find your order for your MT Membership – you will be able to click your subscription – Then click the ‘edit subscription cog’ at the top of the header and upgrade/downgrade or cancel your subscription.
You will need to re sign up again if you change your mind (which we hope you do)
We do not have capacity to manually manage your subscription through our system – it is completely automated, saving us time and energy so we can focus on our vibing studio instead.
How should I contact you?
Email please. We are not a standard office, and do not have the computer at our fingertips all day like most. We will try our best to respond Monday – Friday from 9am – 12pm. We do not answer emails in the weekends and do not have a phone line.
Please don’t DM us on Instagram. We will not respond. It’s a great place to share funny memes and images but not the place for business. If you want to chat about workshops, bookings or your MT Membership, we need the booking system at our fingertips to actually help you so email [email protected]
We have strong work/life boundaries and thats that.
What do I need to bring?
Check the workshop page online. Generally, all materials are provided. If not you will be contacted directly with a list of supplies to bring.
Club Nights – Craft Cult you will need to bring your own projects to work on.
Late Night Sewing – You must bring all of your materials with you. Pattern and Fabric.
Can I store my stuff in the studio?
Yes you can. We have limited storage but if you know when you are coming in next we are happy to hold onto your bits for you. We don’t have thieves about and our customers are glorious, but you will be doing this at your own peril.
Can I bring my own sewing machine?
Nope. We have brilliant, sturdy and quality Janome machines which everyone uses.
If you would like us to sit with you and help with your own machine, please email [email protected] and we can book you in for a 121 private lesson at a sweet price.
What facilities do you have?
We have a mini kitchen. Fridge, stove, oven, George Forman grill, toaster, jug and basic cutlery and plates etc. We have a booze fridge always stocked with beers, wines and fizzy pop for a sweet price. Or BYO for a even better price.
You are always welcome to help yourself to hot drinks and water from kitchen for free.
How is the Studio Set up?
Beautifully. Individual rooms for specialised activities.
Ground Floor is The Party Floor – Use the massive height adjustable tables for cutting and really spread out. Come to one of our group workshops or hire it our for your next event.
First Floor is The Sewing Room – Sewing machines and overlockers, irons, threads, elastics, scissors and every tool you will ever need for your sewing adventure. With a couple of doors leading out side for quiet hand stitching in the sun and lunch time.
Second Floor is The Weaving Studio – Filled to the brim with yarns and fibres for you to create something magical and uniquely yours. Beautiful high ceilings and spiritually peaceful. You will love it up there.
Is there wheelchair access?
Short answer no. Unfortunately we were unable to secure a ground floor studio this time around. We are bummed out about this too. There are 2 steps up to the ground floor.
Please ensure you are comfortable walking up 2 flights of stairs.
How old is a child?
6 years – 15 Years. 16 Years olds are big enough to visit the studio solo and we welcome them to become a MT Member. All other children must be accompanied by an adult, however the adult does not need to participate in the activity. But why would you not?
Do you allow dogs?
I guess so. Seeing eye dogs and well behaved furry friends are both welcome in the studio. This is at your own peril and MT take zero responsibility.
