Natural dying is absolutely fascinating and once you understand a few fundamentals you can dye everything yourself at home!

This Natural Dying workshop is 3 hours. You will learn the techniques and fundamental knowledge needed to dye your own silk scrunchie or silk scarf. After this session you’ll be able to try Natural Dying at home with natural products already on your home!

All materials and tools are provided for this workshop including…

  • A selection of pre made dye vats –
  • Cool shapes and funky cut out card punches
  • Pre threaded sewing machines – we are good to you!

Suitable for absolute beginners keen to get a full bodied understanding in using what you have in your hame to vcreate magical colours through natural Dying,

Can I cancel my booking?

Afraid not. Our Guest teachers are special to us and we need them to be compensated for their effort fairly. Plus the admin is a nightmare so we do not offer refunds on these workshops. All bookings are final.

You are welcome to send a friend in your place if you are no longer able to make it, just give us a heads up.

What materials will we be using?

Julie will be bringing everything! You will be drooling over all of the colours she creates using things you can find in your fridge, cupboard and garden!

What will I make?

Choose form a pre made silk scrunchie or a silk scarf. You will dye one of these in your preferred colour way. You will have the information and understanding to have a go at home!

What experience do I need?

Nada! You will thoroughly enjoy learning this easy to do at home project in this 3 hour session designed to have you fully focussed on play, colour and creativity.
